Pre-heat oven to 350℉.
In a stand mixer, cream the butter and sugar for 1 minute on medium until light and fluffy.
Turn mixer to low and slowly add the egg, molasses, vanilla, and salt.
In a smaller bowl, mix the baking powder, nutmeg, and flours.
Carefully on low speed add the flour mixture to the mixer, 1/4 of the flour at a time until fully incorporated.
Add the trail mix and stir in by hand, scraping down the bowl.
On a sheet tray or cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, scoop 1 T of dough onto pan about 2 inches apart and sprinkle each with a pinch of sea salt.
Bake for 15-18 minutes and allow to cool for 15 off the sheet pan but on the parchment. Happy trails!
